Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students with various communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify student needs and tailor therapy accordingly.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, collaborating with educators and parents to establish achievable goals.
- Document and track student progress in compliance with state and district regulations.
- Work closely with school staff, including teachers, special education teams, and administrators, to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of goals and objectives for students.
- Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure the timely and effective delivery of therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active Massachusetts SLP License.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
