In a supportive K-12 educational environment, a dedicated and skilled professional is sought to provide comprehensive speech-language services to students from elementary through middle school. This full-time position requires a proactive approach to fostering communication skills and addressing the unique needs of each student on your caseload.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in elementary and middle school settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of students
Location:
- Fall River, MA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language support
- Provide direct intervention services to students on your caseload
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement IEP goals and monitor student progress
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding speech and language development
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
