A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students from Pre-K through 12th grade in a K-12 school setting located in Burney, CA. This contract position offers a comprehensive experience working within a diverse school environment, serving various age groups and developmental stages.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or in progress preferred
- Skilled in school-based SLP services and healthcare settings
- Proficiency or interest in teletherapy delivery methods
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and school staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Provide services across the full K-12 range, adapting techniques to fit age and developmental level
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting in compliance with district and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other allied professionals to foster student success
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
