A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students from Pre-K through 12th grade in a K-12 school setting located in Burney, CA. This contract position offers a comprehensive experience working within a diverse school environment, serving various age groups and developmental stages.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or in progress preferred
  • Skilled in school-based SLP services and healthcare settings
  • Proficiency or interest in teletherapy delivery methods
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and school staff

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy sessions tailored to student needs
  • Provide services across the full K-12 range, adapting techniques to fit age and developmental level
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting in compliance with district and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other allied professionals to foster student success
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings

Location & Schedule:

  • Position based in Burney, CA
  • Contract duration aligns with the school calendar year (CSY)
  • Hours and caseload are negotiable to accommodate candidate preferences and availability
