Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY)
- Experience in school settings, particularly with elementary students
- Proficiency in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong understanding of various speech and language disorders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with special education teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location: Dillwyn, VA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans for a caseload of 16-20 students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive student care
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student development
