Speech Therapist in Rustburg, VA

Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted speech-language pathology services to a caseload of 16-20 elementary special education students.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support for students.
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY).
• Experience in a school setting, particularly with elementary students.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work flexibly within a 3-4 day schedule, totaling 24-30 hours per week.
