An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist seeking to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is focused on providing targeted support to students from August to the end of October, covering a maternity leave. The role requires a dedicated professional to work onsite three days a week, totaling 24 hours.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy
- Proficient in teletherapy practices
- Familiarity with K-12 educational environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Location:
- Muncie, IN
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students' needs
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy as required
- Conduct workshops and meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and outcomes
