Two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are sought to provide essential services in an Extended School Year (ESY) program. This contract position runs from July 1 to July 31, 2025, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8:15 AM to 12:45 PM. The role involves working with a diverse PreK-12 student population, addressing a variety of speech and language needs.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of clinical competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and parents
- Knowledge of individual education plans (IEPs) and related documentation
Location:
- Piscataway, NJ
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
- Conduct therapy sessions across various grade levels, adapting techniques as necessary
- Monitor and document student progress, modifying therapies to ensure effective outcomes
