Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a middle school setting to support students’ communication needs. This contract position requires delivering direct therapy, conducting progress monitoring, and offering consultative support to students in grades 5 through 8.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy tailored to individual student needs.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to provide consultative services.
- Manage a caseload primarily consisting of middle school students (grades 5-8).
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
- No involvement with ARDs (Admission, Review, and Dismissal meetings) required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credential preferred.
- Experience working in school settings, ideally with middle school students.
- Strong ability to provide individualized therapy and consultative support.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to accommodate a primarily Tuesday schedule, with some scheduling adjustments as needed.
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Floresville, TX.
- Contract duration from start as soon as possible through May 16th.
- Commitment of approximately 10 hours per week.
- Schedule is ideally Tuesdays but can be flexible based on availability.
