Speech Language Pathologist in Floresville, TX

Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a middle school setting to support students’ communication needs. This contract position requires delivering direct therapy, conducting progress monitoring, and offering consultative support to students in grades 5 through 8.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy tailored to individual student needs.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with educators and staff to provide consultative services.
• Manage a caseload primarily consisting of middle school students (grades 5-8).
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
• No involvement with ARDs (Admission, Review, and Dismissal meetings) required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credential preferred.
• Experience working in school settings, ideally with middle school students.
• Strong ability to provide individualized therapy and consultative support.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to accommodate a primarily Tuesday schedule, with some scheduling adjustments as needed.

Location and Schedule:

• Position based in Floresville, TX.
• Contract duration from start as soon as possible through May 16th.
• Commitment of approximately 10 hours per week.
• Schedule is ideally Tuesdays but can be flexible based on availability.
