School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Fontana, California

Opportunity available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Fontana, CA. This contract role spans the normal school year and focuses on delivering specialized care to support students with speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students exhibiting speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique goals.
• Deliver targeted therapy sessions aimed at improving speech and language abilities.
• Maintain detailed records tracking student progress and therapy outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with educators, counselors, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
• Engage families by providing education and support to encourage therapeutic progress outside of sessions.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in the state.
