School Speech and Language Pathologist | Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri

A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide in-person services for a K-12 school setting in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. This contract role runs for the full school year and focuses primarily on supporting middle school students. The position requires immediate availability with the assignment continuing through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group speech and language therapy services to approximately 30 middle school students
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in meetings and professional development as required

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with K-12 students, specifically middle school age preferred
• Ability to provide direct, in-person therapy services exclusively
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of current speech and language therapy techniques and educational requirements
