A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school setting, supporting students across multiple grade levels. This contract role commences as soon as possible and is based in the Fremont, CA area, with service responsibilities also in Milpitas, CA.

The working hours are from 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM daily, providing a structured schedule that includes three days supporting high school students and two days working with two different elementary schools. The flexible assignment allows for meaningful impact across diverse student populations, serving both adolescent and younger learners within the district.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech and language evaluations and therapy sessions for K-12 students.
  • Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintaining accurate records and progress notes in compliance with district and professional standards.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and team meetings.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathology License with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred.
  • Strong understanding of pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
