A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available at an elementary school in Fremont, CA, offering an excellent opportunity to deliver essential speech and language services within a supportive educational environment. This contract position lasts through the current school year (CSY), engaging you in meaningful work with young students while collaborating closely with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Provide both direct and indirect therapy services to students with mild to moderate language and speech challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student progress.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, including progress notes and reporting.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and other team discussions to optimize student outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology License (CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year accepted).
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Experience working in school settings preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills essential to thrive in a team-based environment.
