Speech and Language Pathologist in Fremont, CA

Seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, contract position serving K-12 schools in Fremont, CA. This role requires a licensed SLP with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and specific experience in school-based speech therapy settings.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Experience providing evaluation and therapy services within K-12 school environments
• Ability to manage caseload across multiple school sites
• No Clinical Fellows (CF) or Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) accepted for this position
• Familiarity with individualized education program (IEP) processes and school-based documentation

Job Details:

• Location: Fremont, California
• Setting: K-12 public school contract assignment
• Contract duration: Current School Year (CSY), starting ASAP with end date TBD
• Schedule: Full time, approximately 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., hours may vary based on site assignments
• Caseload: To be determined, spanning multiple school sites
• Use of VOCO devices or supports is not part of this assignment

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments aligned with school protocols
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ communication goals
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to track student progress
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with school district and legal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to educational planning
