An on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an elementary school setting in Gadsden, AL. This contract position runs for the current school year and offers the flexibility of part-time or full-time hours, with a preference for 37.5 hours per week. The role primarily involves servicing an elementary-aged caseload and may require working across multiple campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language assessments and therapy to elementary-aged students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet students’ communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided.
- Travel as needed between multiple campuses to deliver services.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to serve a caseload across more than one campus.
