An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services in a K-12 educational setting. This role focuses on supporting students with speech and language disorders, ensuring they receive the guidance and therapy needed to thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students to assess speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions focused on achieving speech and language goals.
- Regularly monitor and document student progress to inform ongoing therapy.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the coordination of care.
- Actively involve and educate families in the therapy process to support student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Preferably hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
This position is located in Bronson, FL, for the duration of the school year on a contract basis.
