A full-semester contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at an elementary school in Georgetown, TX. This role involves providing specialized speech and language services to school-aged children, contributing to their academic and social success within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students exhibiting speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions focused on improving speech and language skills
- Monitor and document student progress meticulously to guide therapy adjustments
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary educational team to ensure coordinated student support
- Engage and educate families to foster ongoing home support and involvement
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations strongly desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in Texas
