A full-semester contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at an elementary school in Georgetown, TX. This role involves providing specialized speech and language services to school-aged children, contributing to their academic and social success within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students exhibiting speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Deliver targeted therapy sessions focused on improving speech and language skills
  • Monitor and document student progress meticulously to guide therapy adjustments
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary educational team to ensure coordinated student support
  • Engage and educate families to foster ongoing home support and involvement

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations strongly desired
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in Texas
