A California-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide services within a K-12 school setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work during the current school year (CSY) supporting students across grade levels.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- California state licensure as an SLP eligible for school-based practice
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings preferred
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans for various speech and language disorders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Location:
Gilroy, California (K-12 school environment)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
