A California-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide services within a K-12 school setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work during the current school year (CSY) supporting students across grade levels.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • California state licensure as an SLP eligible for school-based practice
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings preferred
  • Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans for various speech and language disorders
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Location:
Gilroy, California (K-12 school environment)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
