A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support K-12 students in a school setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic educational environment, providing essential speech and language services to help students overcome communication challenges and achieve their academic potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized speech and language therapy for students across grades K-12.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and student evaluations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights regarding student communication needs.
- Adapt therapy techniques to suit a diverse range of learning styles and communication disorders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in a school environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of communication disorders typically encountered in pediatric populations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
