Seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual support for an elementary school setting in Grand Prairie, TX. This contract position is designed to cover an FMLA absence and runs through February 27, 2026. The role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse student caseload in a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary school students through virtual platforms.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings as needed.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license, with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings, especially with elementary-aged children.
- Strong knowledge of virtual therapy platforms and ability to engage students remotely.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
