A dynamic opportunity for a skilled candidate has arisen in a K-12 educational setting in King Hill, ID. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Location: King Hill, ID Duration: August 2025 - May 2026 Employment Type: Full-time, Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students with various communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
  • Conduct screenings and assessments to evaluate student needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to establish goals and document student progress in alignment with state and district regulations.
  • Work alongside school staff, including special education teams and administrators, to foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings to help develop and adjust goals and objectives for students on your caseload.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Idaho SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students, is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and deliver therapy services in a timely manner.
