A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Grayling, MI, serving a K-12 school environment. This contract position runs through the current school year, with a start date as soon as possible and an end date of June 12th, 2026. The role involves working with a diverse age range from early intervention children to high school students.

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services tailored to individual student needs. The position may involve conducting sessions via teletherapy, delivering services in healthcare settings, and collaborating closely with educators and families. Additionally, there could be opportunities for home visits and supporting preschool programs to ensure developmental milestones are met effectively.

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Valid SLP certification, including Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology
  • Comfortable providing teletherapy services
  • Capacity to adapt therapy techniques for a wide age group, from early intervention to high school students
  • Ability to conduct in-person visits in homes and preschools as needed

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat speech and language disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
