A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide services for a maternity leave coverage assignment in a K-12 school setting in Green Valley, AZ. This contract role spans from November 10 to February 10, offering the opportunity to work directly with students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a fully on-site position.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy services to students across K-12
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and school policies
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of pediatric school-aged children
- Utilize teletherapy techniques when appropriate to enhance student engagement and progress
Qualifications:
- Valid state SLP license
- State teaching certificate
- State fingerprint clearance card
- Experience or interest in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
- Credentials such as CCC-SLP and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility are advantageous
