This position is designed for professionals who hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and are dedicated to enhancing the communication skills of children.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations regarding speech and language therapy in schools.
Location:
High Point, NC
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders.
- Monitor and document students’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support students’ overall educational goals.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with regulations.
