This contract position is ideal for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists eager to make a significant impact on students’ communication skills from Pre-K through 12th grade.
Location:
Simpsonville, SC
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessment and evaluation of students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff.
- Deliver effective therapy sessions tailored to meet diverse student needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and educational regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist License in South Carolina.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably within a school setting.
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus.
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
