A school-based speech-language pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide specialized support to students in grades K-12. This contract role is located in Griffin, GA, and requires a commitment from as soon as possible through May 22nd. The position involves working 25 to 30 hours per week, primarily serving middle and high school students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to approximately 30 students regularly.
- Provide consultative support once a month to an additional 30 students.
- Manage a caseload of about 60 students with diverse communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators and other school staff to support each student's communication goals.
- Maintain thorough documentation of services and student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success plans.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is required.
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially middle and high school students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within an educational team.
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and maintain accurate records.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of students with varying speech and language challenges.
