This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide Speech-Language Pathology services within a K-12 educational setting, primarily supporting middle and high school students. The role involves a caseload of approximately 60 students, with half receiving regular speech therapy and the other half consulted about once a month. This contract runs from as soon as possible through May 22nd, requiring a commitment of 25 to 30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to the needs of middle and high school students
- Manage a caseload of around 60 students, including direct therapy and monthly consultations
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individual education plan (IEP) development
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly middle and high school populations
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with effective time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities within an educational environment
