A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to cover a maternity leave at an elementary school in Chesapeake, VA. This contract role runs approximately from September 25, 2025, to December 18, 2025, and involves working on-site five days a week, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Location:

• Chesapeake, VA (Virginia Beach Area)
• Grassfield Elementary School

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language pathology services to elementary school-aged children
• Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication needs
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments
• Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Experience working with elementary-age children in a school setting preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload independently during the leave period
• Strong communication and organizational skills
