An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. This position involves working with a diverse group of K-8 students, primarily focusing on their communication needs throughout the full school year.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings, particularly with elementary students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Familiarity with various speech and language disorders and intervention techniques
  • Effective collaboration skills to work with students, parents, and staff

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose students' speech and language disorders and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of 30-35 elementary students
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to create a supportive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and IEP documentation
  • Conduct workshops or informational sessions for parents and staff regarding speech and language development
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and progress
