A school district in Harrisburg, PA is seeking four skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support K-8 students across three different sites for the current school year. These contract positions offer a full-time workload of 40 hours per week, providing a dynamic environment to apply your expertise in pediatric speech-language services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to K-8 students in accordance with individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate student progress.
  • Participate in evaluations, goal setting, and documentation required for student records.
  • Implement teletherapy services as needed to ensure consistent care.
  • Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFYs) and coordinate with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as part of the therapeutic team.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings.
  • Ability and willingness to provide teletherapy services.
  • Open to supporting supervision for Clinical Fellows in their professional development.
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required.

Location and Schedule:

  • Positions are based in Harrisburg, PA within K-8 school settings.
  • Employment spans the current school year under a contract arrangement.
  • Positions available across three different sites, with a 2.0 FTE role specifically at K-8 School.
  • Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
