A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Hartford, CT. This contract role begins ASAP and runs through June 9, 2026, with a schedule of 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM, totaling 35 hours per week onsite. The position serves approximately 50 students on caseload with a diverse range of disability categories in an inclusive setting, without specialized classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services within the school environment to support students’ communication needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records as required by school and state regulations.
  • Adhere to all district policies, including fingerprinting and background clearances.

Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; Clinical Fellows (CF) will also be considered.
  • Active Connecticut SLP license.
  • School-based speech-language pathology experience is mandatory.
  • Ability to work effectively within an inclusive classroom setting.
  • Must successfully complete required district fingerprinting and background checks.
  • Candidates with SLP Assistant licenses will not be considered.
