Speech Pathology - Hartford, CT

This contract position seeks two dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support student populations in educational settings located in Bloomfield and Manchester, CT. The assignment is full time, offering 30-40 hours weekly, from ASAP through mid-June (end of the school year).

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy assistance to 5-7 students per location under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Support individualized education plans (IEPs) with therapeutic interventions tailored to students' needs.
• Collaborate with school staff to maintain clear communication about student progress and therapy goals.
• Assist in documentation and tracking of therapy sessions and student improvements.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with relevant school experience.
• Familiarity with school-based therapy delivery and working with children across K-12.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively support students and work collaboratively with educational staff.
• Ability to follow clinical protocols and confidentiality standards in a school environment.

Location Details:

• Bloomfield Campus serving grades 6-12
• Manchester Campus serving grades K-5
