A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a contract role in Haskell, NJ, starting May 1st through mid to late October 2026. This opportunity serves students primarily in PreK through 8th grade, with most clients aged 3 to 8 years old. The position offers a 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There is flexibility to work over the summer for those interested.

Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders within the school setting. The caseload will consist of approximately 25 students. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions accordingly.

Key qualifications and experience desired:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Eligibility or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience working in school-based settings with PreK to Grade 8 students
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development in early childhood
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
