A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC, CFY, or school certification is needed for a travel position supporting Extended School Year (ESY) services in Haskell, NJ. This role provides a valuable opportunity to work with young students in a school environment during the summer months.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to a caseload of approximately 25 students, primarily ages 3 to 8 years old, ranging from PreK to 8th grade
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions focusing on speech, language, and communication development
- Collaborate with educators and staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with families regarding student progress
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLP-CFY) appropriate for school settings
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in early childhood and elementary school environments
- Ability to manage a caseload independently, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and maintain detailed records
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for travel assignments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and educational teams
Location and Schedule: This travel position is located in Haskell, New Jersey. The schedule runs Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., beginning in July for the duration of the ESY program.
