Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services for the 2026-2027 school year in a supportive school-based environment. This onsite position offers the chance to make a lasting impact, working with a diverse elementary and/or secondary student caseload (approximately 40 students) near Hatch, NM. Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and specialized teams as you help students unlock their full communication potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in pediatric, school-based, or educational settings preferred
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Proficiency in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention techniques
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Strong organization, time management, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students on caseload
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in consultation with IEP teams
  • Deliver direct therapy to students onsite, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to support positive student outcomes
  • Maintain detailed and compliant case documentation and progress reporting
  • Provide training, consultation, and support to teachers and families to reinforce services
  • Participate actively in team meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
