A skilled candidate is sought for a full-time position in a dynamic K-12 educational environment located in San Jose, CA. This role focuses on providing comprehensive communication assessments and interventions for students with mod/severe speech and language needs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Location:
San Jose, California
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide therapeutic interventions to students with mod/severe speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
