A K-12 educational institution located in Hayward, CA, is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year contract. This role requires a commitment of 0.8 full-time equivalent, primarily serving elementary-level students across multiple schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student communication needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with federal and state guidelines regarding student care.
  • Provide support and guidance to Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), including sharing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY) with experience in school settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with elementary-aged students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working across multiple school sites is preferred.
  • Eligibility to supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants.
