A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school located in Hayward, CA. This contract role begins as soon as possible and will run through the current school year. The position offers an opportunity to work with students across multiple sites within the school district, providing comprehensive speech-language services tailored to each student's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for K-12 students across multiple school sites
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting speech and language goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and contribute professional expertise to student success
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule across multiple sites
- No supervision of Clinical Fellows (CFs), and Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not accepted in this role
- Voice therapy (VOCO) experience or involvement is not applicable in this position
Schedule Details:
- Typically full-time hours, approximately 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., varying by site assignment
