School-Based SLP | Normangee, Texas

An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide vital support in a K-12 educational setting. This position is located in Normangee, TX, and is focused on serving a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students, including those with secondary disabilities or additional service needs outlined in their IEPs.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas State Speech Therapy License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in school settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Proficient in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Location: Normangee, Texas

Responsibilities:

• Assess and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students’ overall development
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and outcomes
• Provide guidance and resources to staff regarding speech and language development
• Facilitate small group and one-on-one sessions to ensure effective learning experiences
