Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist focused on providing exceptional support to students in a K-12 educational setting. This role involves a commitment to empowering children with speech and language disorders through effective assessment and intervention strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving specific communication goals.
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions that foster skill development in speech and language.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance overall student care.
- Involve and educate families regarding their child's therapy and progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Preference for candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students and staff.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
