A dedicated professional is sought to provide onsite speech-language pathology services within a K-12 educational setting. This role focuses on supporting students with diverse communication needs and will encompass a full semester contract. The position is open to both certified speech-language pathologists and those currently completing their clinical fellowship year.
Qualifications:
- Licensed in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills in speech and language disorders
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficient in using assistive technology and therapy resources
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and sessions
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of strategies for students
