A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for elementary school-aged students in the Chattanooga area, specifically in Hixson, TN. This contract role runs from January 19, 2026, to May 21, 2026, within local school districts, offering a caseload that may include 1 to 3 campuses depending on assignment needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language therapy sessions for elementary school students.
  • Perform evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language needs.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with educational staff.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Tennessee Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) from ASHA.
  • Valid Tennessee Department of Education certification.
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred but entry-level candidates with appropriate licensure will be considered.
  • Ability to manage caseloads across multiple campuses depending on assignment.

Work Details:

  • Full-time schedule, approximately 35 to 37.5 hours per week.
  • On-site work required; no remote or hybrid options available.
  • Contract duration aligns with the school year segment through late May 2026.
