A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting in Hollister, CA, serving elementary students. This contract role runs from ASAP through June 4, 2026, and requires onsite presence. The position focuses on delivering intensive individualized speech and language programs for students with multiple handicapping conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, organizing, and implementing targeted speech and language therapy programs tailored to individual student needs.
  • Conducting evaluations of students experiencing speech and language difficulties.
  • Maintaining detailed clinical records, including evaluation information, observations, and therapy recommendations.
  • Collaborating with instructional staff and communicating therapy progress to parents and caregivers.
  • Managing an elementary school caseload with comprehensive speech-language services.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology licensure.
  • ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility.
  • Possession of an educator credential.
  • Experience working with K-12 populations, preferably in school-based settings.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to maintain accurate records and engage with families and educational teams.
