An elementary school in the Hopkins, MN area is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support to students throughout the current school year (CSY) under a contract position. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment, contributing to the development and success of young learners.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
  • Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique communication goals
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participating in team meetings and professional development activities as needed

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working as an SLP in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged students
  • Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders common in children
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, families, and educational staff
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
