Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary team members
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize needs effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with a range of communication disorders
- Conduct student assessments and participate in eligibility determinations
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and social success
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with district and state guidelines
- Offer consultative services and serve as a resource for colleagues regarding communication strategies
This contract role is onsite, Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule averaging approximately 18 hours per week. The assignment runs from early March through early June, allowing for a focused and impactful engagement within the school community.
