A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-semester contract position in a K-12 school setting located in Hot Springs National Park, AR. This assignment begins immediately and runs through January 1. The caseload includes 45 students requiring speech services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech therapy services to a full caseload of 45 students.
  • Conduct evaluations for students due for re-evaluation in speech.
  • Monitor and document student progress throughout the semester.
  • Complete annual review reports on speech progress and evaluation reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with school staff, but no additional special education folder responsibilities are assigned beyond speech-related documentation.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Valid SLP certification or license appropriate for school-based practice.
  • Experience working within K-12 school environments.
  • Ability to manage a full caseload efficiently and maintain detailed records.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators and families.
