A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide onsite services at an elementary school in Humble, TX, covering a K-2 caseload. This contract position is ideal for an SLP seeking experience in a school setting, working directly with young children to support their communication and language development during the current school year (CSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students in kindergarten through 2nd grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and district policies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential.
- Experience working in schools, particularly with elementary-aged children.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not mandatory.
- Speech-Language Pathology Certification (CCC) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work onsite and manage a caseload independently.
