A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in Huntersville, NC. This contract position extends through the current school year, concluding on May 29, 2026. The role involves working onsite Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, serving elementary and middle school students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services tailored to student needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language challenges
- Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with educational regulations
Required Qualifications:
- State License as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as an SLP within a school setting, preferably K-12
- Strong understanding of educational testing and IEP development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
