A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year in Huron, SD. This position serves students in a K-12 educational setting and offers a contract role starting as soon as possible, with employment concluding at the end of the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered an asset
- Experience working with school-aged children across K-12 grade levels
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Participate in team meetings and compliance reporting as required
Location:
- Huron, South Dakota
Employment Details:
- Full-time position (37.5 hours per week)
- Contract through the end of the school year (EOSY)
- Start date: Immediate availability
