An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact in an elementary school setting. This position is set in a supportive educational environment focused on fostering the communication skills of students from Pre-K to 6th grade.

Location:
Saint Albans, VT

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluate student needs in speech and language.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 25 students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Active or pending Vermont SLP license, with the ability to apply for one.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • ASHA certification is a plus; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
