A two-day Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide essential support to K-12 students in Independence, MO. This contract role offers an opportunity to engage with a diverse student population, delivering specialized speech and language services within a school setting during the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services and student outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and provide progress reports as required
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification/licensure appropriate for school settings
- Experience working with K-12 students in school environments
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently within a limited schedule (two days per week)
